You, sir, are an artist and you have an artist's eye. I sincerely enjoyed looking at your photos of wood-working hand tools even though I am about as far from being a woodworker as one can be (but I have pounded the occasional nail).
.. then why not Buy One or Two & gift them to someone who will cherish & take advantage of such tools ! Feel free to send me an update re Eventual Auction Date etc !
Will do, Thomas. They will be fairly pricey, if they go for as much as they should, I’d rather buy a camera for that much. If I knew anyone who was a woodworker, and who could put such a beauty to work, I might do it.
For all the bells & whistles that my Canon has, I only ever shoot manual, and I make adjustments to the shutter and aperture as needed. I don’t need all of the rest.

Thank you, Susan. I want to buy them, even though I don’t have the money and wouldn’t know the first thing about using one.

Will they go for more or less than Current ‘Replacement Cost’ .. ?
I think that they will go for less than retail, that's the way most auctions go.
Beautiful tools, beautifully photographed
Thank you, Mark.
All I expect & need from any camera is to be an effective tool - & the simpler - the better !
It’s an excellent ‘Topic & Example you’ve brought to mind with your super ‘clean images & ‘just enough’ background ‘story’ ! 🦎🏴☠️🎬

Man, those are beauties!!
Thank you, Louise.
Those are beautiful planes! I have several very nice English-made Stanley planes, but they’re nowhere near as nice as these. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Paul.
Lovely! I would buy them, and I am not a wood worker, but your photos are so tempting! 😉
Thank you, Søren. Normally, I can resist anything but temptation.
